Here, in this thread, fans of paper bag teams can come together, commiserate, and talk about how spectacularly awful their respective CFL franchises are, without fear of being mocked by fans of teams who do that winning thing more than semi-annually.

It’s also okay if not sometimes encouraged to stop by here when prudently inebriated so as to soothe some of your sorrows.
You can’t have all that grief weighing on your sole conscience you know. It’s a whole lot to carry.

This is one of those where normally I would think our Elks would be smashed, but then it feels like it could be one of those quirky mid-summer games that we all remember from every season.
I’m taking the Elks for this one. Just like July with the heavily misleading statistic of our .500 record for hot July, this July just might spring us ONE win and this could be the one!
I am not a fan of this band, but this feels like the right song for this game before Chris Jones is fired later in hopeful…

That damn bojack Sims didn’t do his basic job to just catch or field the ball and return the kick.
They should stick Yosemite Sam on him for retraining camp for a week and see if that helps him.

Pro Tip
For any return man, make sure of the following:
Ball security - if he can’t catch reliably or secure the ball well when tackled, pass
Make sure he has some brains
I don’t care if the guy is 0.1 seconds faster in the 40, which at the pro level is more than you think. It’s not worth it in the return game over ball security and good decisions.
