Just prior to the start of the biggest marquee game of Week 11 I figured I better post the slate for Week 12.
Warning:Thursday Thanksgiving Day game so pick early.
I went into a long explanation last week on how a bad schedule can make for a weak or bad or uninteresting slate. Unfortunately this week is no different. I won’t go into it any further but you can look at the schedule if you wish and see what I mean. Probably only 3 games on the level I would like to see. On the plus side this week should be a bit easier and many of you including myself could probably use that after some recent tough sledding.
Ripe for the picking:
Thanksgiving Thursday
San Francisco at Seattle 7:20
Sunday
New Orleans at Atlanta Noon Pittsburgh at Cincinnati Noon Jacksonville at Houston Noon Cleveland at Denver 3:05 Buffalo at Philadelphia 3:25
I think the Thanksgiving Day game is the closest thing to a given in a while but hey, I need the win.
Thursday’s annual slate is a weak one but we traditionally have to have one game and the others are even worse matchups. Prior to last weekend that game didn’t look too bad but Seattle looked terrible. You never know. Home underdogs on national TV have a habit of playing above their heads.
