I will apologize once at the outset for the slate of games but it largely depends on luck of the draw. This week is schedulus horrobillius and that is reflected in the slate of games. Shame on the NFL! The least competitive schedule of the year to date.
As a result I have included the Thursday game this week so pick early.
On tap:
Thursday at 7:15
Cincinnati at Baltimore
Sunday
Pittsburgh at Cleveland Noon
Tennessee at Jacksonville Noon
Seattle at LA Rams 3:25
Minnesota at Denver 7:20
Monday
Philadelphia at Kansas City 7:20
At least that’s a good one.
All times Central.
Byes: Atlanta, Indianapolis, New England, New Orleans
Good luck to all!
Edit:
Just so you know the rest of the schedule hogwash there was to choose from and why those games weren’t/couldn’t be picked:
Chicago @ Detroit- Clear blowout with the field likely picking Detroit 24-0. Even an upset won’t help except for one or two people who might pick the underdog although people that pick a large underdog such as this one are usually well down in the standings.
LA Chargers @ Green Bay- Probably Game #7 on the slate but we’ve seen enough of both of these teams for a while and I suspect the split would still be about 20-4 in favour of San Diego.
Vegas @ Miami- 24-0 for Miami.
NY Giants @ Washington- Just reading this matchup leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Would anyone actually pick the Giants with their 4th string water boy QB last seen winning an Academy Award in Goodfellas? Funny like a clown.
Dallas @ Carolina- 48-0 in favour of Dallas.
Arizona @ Houston- This might turn out to be an ok game if Murray ends up doing anything, but I doubt many of you would pick Arizona this early into his comeback and considering how well Houston is playing.
Tampa @ San Fran- Considering how SF just annihilated a much better team on the road- 24-0 SF.
NY Jets @ Buffalo- The tin foil hat ain’t back yet. Minimum 20-4 for Buffalo.
Let’s hope we never see such a poor schedule again this year.
