We have both been at opposite ends. One of the things that I love about this pool. That can’t happen in the CFL Pool as there aren’t enough games or variety of teams. That is exciting in a different way so here I figure that here we need to make the best of what we have and use the ability to remove blow outs.
I wouldn’t go as far as to say 8 would work. In a few weeks yes. Not this week (see my initial post above and you will see that there isn’t even one more potential game available). I think next week there are 6 byes so 8 games wouldn’t work there either. I really don’t want to include one sided matchups unless absolutely forced to. I think that would happen a lot with 8 games on the slate and that 6 is the sweet spot. We could flex it for a good week I suppose but that would present other potetntial integrity and fairness problems.
Especially the Jags. The Ravens killed all of us but the Jags killed half of us and by a large point spread too. After a while I couldn’t bear to look and had to change the channel.
Thanks Gridiron Girl. To make things easier for you I have decided to pick only winners from now on. That way you won’t have to work so hard counting my losers (of which there are many).
Keep up the good work. There’ll be something extra in your pretend pay envelope this week. I can’t tell you what it is but don’t let it escape.
I don’t know how your fantasy league works but the Dallas result was predictable. They just won their 12th in a row at home and their average margin of victory at home this year is 27.5 points. Plus NY was starting Joe Pesci at QB. He might whack ‘em after the game but not during.
In any event the defending champ seems to be creeping up the standings. Don’t forget to pick soon as there is a Thursday game the next two weeks.
