Well another week is in the books and we are getting close to the finish line. We had 14(!) perfect weeks this past long weekend. Congrats to those folks

Thanks GridironGirl! So, now the last 4 weeks, I went 4-0, 0-4, 4-0, 4-0 and still can’t make up ground. That’s thanks to the TiCats for a crappy start. Learned my lesson on being a homer!
I barely had time to do the pool stuff, sorry it was a day late. My daughter’s 16th birthday was this weekend (my god) and I also had a ton of coding work on some app development.
btw, I fixed the sort order on the results. any mistakes are always me being an arse not the pool app - that thing is never wrong, it’s just math. it’s always my mistake with an input or with the report export and posting to the forum.
I was going to explain it at the end of the season and have before but will have to find it. All that is important to know at this point is that you need to be in the top 8 to make the playoffs, although everyone can and generally does still pick. The top eight are then cut in half after the semi finals and then again after the Division Finals with the top two moving on to predict the GC. Only one left standing for the overall title at the end.
There is recognition and digital awards for winning the regular season pool (2nd best bragging rights and arguably the most difficult), the most perfect weeks and the best aggregate. The regular season winner isn’t necessarily the last person standing and wasn’t last year.
I’ll try to find a better explanation if I have time but it will be posted for sure before the playoffs. Below is a link to the final standings from last year which offers some info.
Hard to know for sure as I don’t think everyone’s allegiance is openly known, especially for newer members. It wouldn’t surprise me if there are more Bomber fans entered than any other team. I’m guessing the Als might be second. We love pools in Winnipeg!
