Ok folks, here are the final standings along with the week 21 results. @Maaax came from behind with a perfect week to topple @Jon for the title :crown: :clap: :beaver:

The top 8 go on to the playoffs but I think anyone else can continue to play. There were 21(!) perfect weeks, not suprisingly. Thanks for playing this year and good luck in the play offs. :slight_smile:

Oh geez… poor Jon. He came so close to winning this thing and I came along and snatched the trophy out from under him at that last possible moment. I’m such a cad (sniff). If he can find it in himself to forgive me one day I’d certainly appreciate it. Maybe you can have a talk with Jon GrideronGirl and smooth things over for me. He’s taking it pretty hard.

Anyway enough about him let’s talk about the genius level sub-primate who won the whole enchilada. Meeeeeee!!!

Both Jon and I are extremely pissed at the Tiger-Cats. The Cats only needed to win one of their final two games against either the Lions or Als and Jon would have finished 1st overall.

Likewise for me I would have finished in 7th place and in a playoff spot. Instead the loss by the Cats knocked me down to 13th place.

That was my first time doing a CFL Pool and it was a blast. Really enjoyed it and can’t wait until next year.

Two years in a row finishing second after leading. Think I might have to change to a Greg Norman avatar!

I am pleased to award this year’s honours to Maaax. Not only did he win best regular season record (on a tiebreaker) but he easily won the Abbey award for most perfect weeks (setting a record in the process) and narrowly nudged out yours truly for best aggregate overall. Last year there were 3 different winners but Maaax swept them all this year. Instead rather than 3 separate trophies Maaax has chosen to provide himself with just one in spite of my advice to him that 3 were in the CFL Pool budget and authorized. He is a most humble winner. Enjoy the trophy Maaax. It is yours to use and abuse for one year.

That is correct Jon, to further cement my reputation as an extremely good natured all-around nice guy and humble winner of too many awards to list here… I have chosen to accept one ego-stroking ‘Winner Fits All’ trophy as apposed to three ‘Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ awards that would force me to wear the same outfit to all three awards.

Again, I’d like to thank all those individuals who continue to make my outstanding achievements more and more insufferable, especially my personal butler and travelling minstrels… take a bow guys and get back to work. I’m not paying you servants to hog my limelight. Now where was I?

Oh yeah. Thanks for all you do GCC Pool Crew. I know it’s a lot of work putting this thing on year after year and I think everyone had a blast - especially the winners… oops… I meant to say ‘winner’. Ha ha… sometimes I forget that my name’s on ALL THE HARDWARE. Sorry to get your hopes up fellow GCC Pool Contestants. My bad.

I could go on all day but my agent is drawing his finger across his throat in some kind of slashing motion. Hmmm. Not sure what he’s trying to tell me but it looks like he’s trying to wrap duct tape around my mouth… HEY! STOP THAT!! MPPHHHHPH!!!
