Last week the field picked correctly 70% of the time, probably the best of the year to date. I’m pretty sure this week will be harder. The matchups are much closer and even obviously favoured Toronto is on the road while obviously unfavoured Edmonton gets to sit out and regroup. I expect we will see perhaps the biggest variance in the picks so far this season. We are once again playing Thursday to Sunday.
This week’s games are:
BC at Winnipeg Thursday 5:30 Toronto at Calgary Friday 6:00 Montreal at Hamilton Saturday 4:00 Ottawa at Saskatchewan Sunday 4:00
All times Pacific. I’m in BC for the week and we can all see how different their times are just for the sake of perspective. Add one, two or three hours to the start time.
Currently on the East Coast with work at 8 am, and I usually can’t stay awake for the end of Bombers’ games. Would much rather watch sports in the early evening than at night.
That is one (of many) things that my son loves about living on the west coast instead of back east . He always reminds me of the joys of never having to wait until 9:00 or 10:00 or even later for a game to start anymore be it CFL / NHL or even NFL .
Yes I can see how that can be a bonus. Unless if you’re working and can’t make a 4 pm start on a weekday. I guess you would also have to plan your weekend days to ensure that you are home from whatever you are doing early. I still prefer say a 7-8 pm local start over a 4 pm but certainly get the problems with a late start for those out East.
