2023 CFL GCC Week 7 Picks

We will post the standings immediately but here is the thread for Week 7 picks:

Edmonton at Winnipeg Thursday 7:30
Toronto at Hamilton Friday 6:30
Saskatchewan at BC Saturday at 6:00
Ottawa at Calgary Sunday at 6:00

All times Central.

We are back to four games in four days. I see this as a pretty easy slate of games to pick except perhaps for the last game given Ottawa’s heroics yesterday.

AGAIN, has momentum and playing well.

Riders always plays Calgary well, BC not so much.

Seriously, Crum makes this a difficult choice…but lightning in a bottle 3 weeks in a row, probably not.

Bombers will be soaring and roaring.
Elks have a perfect record going. Agros of course, but
Hammer lucky to have Elks who are worse.
Lions easy, Riders are without qb Harris.
Calgary at home can edge out Ottawa

Hate to tell everyone that did the same my picks have been going downhill ever since week two…

The majority have picked this combo so far. Not a lot of potential upsets on tap. I don’t expect the standings to change much this week as a result. But if you pick an upset and are correct…

I’ve had a rough few weeks too.

The toss-up games for which I picked the underdog all end up wrong.

And the gimme, slam-dunk obvious-winner picks also end up wrong, lol.

Winnipeg - I mean… cmon…
Toronto - Cats look like a 4th place team this season
Saskatchewan - for the upset IN BC
Calgary - I think its going to be close as teams are much more evenly matched than most of you who think Calgary is an easy pick…

I have to say I did same thing as Cappy Dave
The easy picks all ended upsets and the upsets I guessed were all wrong lol
