Interesting how your first two real games are against last year's two worst teams: Winnipeg and Edmonton. Maybe someone doesn't want one of those 0-10 runs before the first win that some expansion teams get.

I hate it I work some Friday night's(1 in3)....was hoping for some Sunday afternoon fall games

I never liked them October Friday night games, can't beat the Saturday afternoon in fall.
It's all about the TV audience.

Summer Friday night games are nice up to September 5th game, but missed out on Autumn Saturday or Sunday afternoon games. Some of my fondest Rough Riders memories are autumn weekend afternoon games at Lansdowne! Especially those last 2 home games (Oct. 24 & 31) could be cold, wet or snowy Friday nights at TD Place! Go REDBLACKS :smiley:

Redblacks season-ticket sales have just passed 12,000, Hunt added, and the target for Year 1 of the CFL expansion franchise is 15,000.

“That’s a stretch goal, but, to have it now at 12,000, we’re happy,? he said.

Season tickets are the only option for now, but Hunt said the Redblacks would also start offering “home opener packages? starting on March 15.

The home opening package will include a friday night CFL game and a Sunday Afternoon 3:00 NASL Fury game vs the NY Cosmos.
Even though the 67’s are out of season i wonder if they will also add possibly a three game package that would include the home opener for the 67’s in the newly reno’s TD Bank arena.

I did not match it up but a lot of the Fury home games starting with the opening July 20th date were moved to Sundays. It appears that more than just the opening weekend may be a weekend package for both games. That is a pretty good idea

Just received the Fury newsletter and indeed after the CFL schedule came out the Fury moved 4 of their home games from saturday to sunday at 3:00 to give them time to change the field from football to soccer and to create ticket packages for both games over those weekends.
