I dont take this serious...Really the USA is the best in this style of football based on just because we are the only ones really playing it....Not saying anything bad about other countries who can beat America?

They should be playing Canadian rules, they are original, logical, more fun and have more international feel.
Called it ! :rockin:

Agree Mass although it is widely viewed by people who are not familiar with gridiron that American and Canadian football are, for the most part, the same game with minor differences. And that can be argued of course. If the differences with that great then players from the US couldn't come up here and perform pronto, which they do albeit better with a year or two under their belt. And there have been the odd instances of CIS players making an NFL team.

What did I just say? Notsure.

The basic skill sets are identical for the most part, not entirely, but for the most part I'd say.

For the USA will play "just" college players...and Japan has almost beat them in the last championship.

No matter what rule are used who is goingto beat the USA?Really and yall know we are the best @ football because we are mainly the only people playing it.Well on your view that cis players do good in the nfl compared to americans doing bad int he cfl thats dumb. How many cis player are starting int he nfl compared too americans starting in the cfl?Really not beaing mean but until americans put a import rule in football then we wont be the best...

It has been explianed before- Canada has 1/10th the population of the U.S.

Its not lack of quality Football players,or Doctors,Lawyers etc its quantity,Thats why we import players!

Fact is there is no true championship in American ball, just popularity contests called bowls. That is why the CFL finds the good imports.

Canada will make its first appearance at the Senior Men's World Championship in Austria.

BTW

Why dont you make canadian football well-known in the world?
There are everywhere in the world leagues of american football, australian football and most recently gaelic football.

Not familiar with gaelic football do you have a link?
re- Australian rules football, they syndicated their big games here in Canada in 90’s, then played some exhibition games , it became very popular here in Southern Ontario.
It would be nice to see the CFL P.R. department do the same internationally for sure Sisco

Try Wikipedia and Youtube. The regulating body for Gaelic Football is the Gaelic Athletic Association, whose website is here http://www.gaa.ie/. What surprises me about Gaelic Football is just how popular it is, even though it’s all amateur, and played mostly just amongst the 6million or so people in Ireland (though it has a small following in other countries, including Canada).

Here are Youtube videos of this year’s Gaelic football championship.

Will the 2011 world championship televised?

Any Austrian TV station makes it surely. Maybe also in internet.

It got so bad they had disband the contest and invent a new one that gave the Americans a better chance at winning

Of course, those who poo-poo these losses to the lowly Canucks usually say it’s because they (the Americans) didn’t use their best players. Never-mind that it actually did use the best players from different regions (the last one being Florida), but I ask you, if the U.S. is SO dominant they why would then need to field the best to win? Aren’t the best usually busy getting paid to play somewhere?

Looks like Canada will have a top notch coaching staff.

Glavic should be #1 qb .

We dont care who you field as a team or qb we are going to win
