2008 Labour Day Activities, Dates, Times and Places

There is so much going on this weekend that I will try and keep everything together.

Y108/CHML Labour Day Drive-Thru - Wed Aug. 27th 2008

On Wednesday, August 27th, between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., pull up to the Y108/CHML parking lot located at 875 Main Street West to hit the TigerTown Drive-Thru.

For $40 fans will receive a bronze level ticket, a $10 dollar merchandise coupon, a $10 voucher off tickets (select seats only) for the September 6 game against B.C., a TigerTown window sticker, as well as their morning coffee and a chance to win more daily prizes including the Grand Prize trip to the 2008 Grey Cup.

Tiger-Cats faithful can meet players, cheerleaders and Stripes, as they get a ticket to see their favourite team take on the arch-rival Toronto Argonauts on Labour Day.

Even with your busy schedules, you can make sure you're part of the action and excitement at Ivor Wynne Stadium on game day by heading down to the Y108/CHML TigerTown Drive-Thru to get your tickets without even leaving your vehicle.

Game Day - Sept. 1, 2008

Pre-game festivities include:

  1. Many players who have played on both sides of the storied rivalry will be signing autographs in the Pepsi pre-game party area located in the northwest corner of the stadium from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Featured players include Joe Montford, Troy Davis, Mike Morreale and many many more.

  2. After you get your autographs, make your way over to the designated table to enter your ballot for a chance to kick a 40 yard field goal at the September 6th game vs. BC for a $5,000 payout. Make sure to arrive early because you can only sign up from 5:30 - 6:30 pm in the Pepsi pre-game party area.

Other Labour Day highlights include a pre-game flyover by the F-18 fighter jets, a drop-in from the parachuter's over at Skydive Burnaby, the Purolator Tackle Hunger Food Drive, and another fantastic magic show from illusionist Greg Frewin.

Be sure to check out ticats.ca for more information or feel free to call us at (905) 547 2287.

Sounds like a great line-up leading up to the big game.

Looks like there will be quite a few former players doing autographs before the game. Will there be something available for purchase or offered for the players to sign on? or should I scramble and get something together to bring to the stadium?
