It's now time for the Lions to offer Upper Deck tickets at $ 20. The organization cannot afford to have a half-empty stadium Sunday for everyone across Canada to see and laugh about.
You cannot treat fans to dispicable displays like the last home game and expect them to fork out premium money to sit higher than many $ 25 seats.
It's now up to Bob Ackles. The BC Lions will have to reduce Upper Deck prices to $ 20 or the players will walk onto the field Sunday greeted by a sea of blue for a nationwide tv audience to see and laugh about.
But like R&W posted...What do you do about the fans that have already paid the price for their tickets already?

It's always nice to have a big crowd at home but I think people put too much emphasis on it. I just go to the game and watch it and if other people want to go, good for them. It will be a good crowd whether it's 35,000 or 50,000
At least we know that the people who are going to be there are going to be excited about being there.

I do agree But bob ackles should have offerd that at the begining of the tickey drive for the western final, he will not do it know and no we will not be the laughing stock of the leage, i have seen other western finals where it has been very empty in the saets, i remember 96,97, at the skydome when fluite was there, i was there, there was only barly 30.000 it was a joke no atmosphere what so ever, i know it is dissapointing about the attendace at this game but come on it will be very loud and it will be a factor at this game the atmosphere will be excellent and i am guaranting that we will get 40.000, so all you fans out there do not miss out on this this is going to be a great game ,and playoff atmosphere style. I think that almost everyone across the nation would agree that it would be a joke if you guys don't get 40,000 for an indoor western final playoff game.

I tried to get 3 tickets through the ticket master website and couldnt get them apparently anywhere in the stadium. It seems hard to believe that if theyve only sold 35k there arent three in the upper deck.
And yes I think the 45$ upper deck tickets are a ripoff, gouging the fans is rearely a good thing to do. Remember thats your
customer.
The only sections on the upper deck open as far as I can see are 34 to 54. Sections 1 through 34 are closed off (the UD endzone under the scoreboard and the Upper Deck on the Visitors side are STILL closed).
This is truly depressing.
Why are you people so worried about the attendance? Just go out and enjoy the game. The Lions are the most exciting team in the league and if the offence is allowed to perform with a little bit of flair they will wipe the Eskimos off the field.
I think the Leos are more than capable of beating the Eskies. The Eskies have been playing just as flat, if not more so than the Leos. This is evidenced by the fact that when the Eskies beat the Leos the last time, they beat them only by a field goal in the last minute of the game. When the Leos beat Edmonton, they won by 6, and the only big loss was by 17. However, the Eskies did lose big to both Calgary (43-23 and 16-11) & Hamilton (40-14), the worst team in the league this year.
The Leos CAN beat the Eskies. They just need to come out with confidence, and hopefully a new offensive scheme, and the ability to change up the defense in the second half.
