2 more gone....

Renard Cox and Anthony Collier are no longer....verified on CFL.ca transactions page.

I don't think they've been released, just removed from the active roser.

It doesnt say anything about them being added to the non active roster or IR...so im taking it this is a cpl more players gone? Whats ur take on this..if its what i think it is id b happy wit letting Cox go he does nothing for us out there

A semi inside source tells me they're actually gone....could still be wrong, but pretty sure it's true.

I'm not saying they're here or gone. I just noticed that they are still on the Roster.

Starting to make space for the annual NFL airlift, cuts will start there in a few weeks or so.

This probably means Glasper will be back at linebacker. That's a good move.

We have a couple real good young guys who can play that SAM linebacker spot in place of Cox.....Glasper and Jamacia Jackson. Don't forget the good Canadians who can also play there.....Mariuz and Glavic.
As for Collier.....a real good player out of Baylor but wasn't getting the required pass rush on. For whatever reason he has not played to past form.
I guess the new guys in town took his job.....meaning Gause and West. Hopefully they can get the job done.

I liked both of these guys. I wish them both all the best.

Sad to see my man Cox go, he was one of the bright spots last year with big hits. Here's hoping somebody picks him up.

With Cox gone now all the Hamilton player avatars this site offers (cox, shaw and cheatwood) are all no longer on the team. Maybe its time to update them or at least allow us to use our own.

Slotbacks continually turned Cox inside out of late ... no surprise here.

These are good cuts.

I was a fan of Collier, but he isn't consistent in his pass rush. You have to bring it every play. Hopefully Gause or West (who didn't really impress me when they played in Winnipeg) will step it up. I think once Reid gets back into the starting rotation (he didn't play in Winnipeg at all), that will probably open things up for the other DL's.

Glasper is just a better player than Cox. Cox's pass coverage was suspect this year, and he missed a lot of key tackles in the Bomber game. Glasper is a better LB than DB, too, so I'm glad to see him back with Moreno and Armour, where he belongs. But who takes his place at HB now? I'm hoping Bradley and not Delgardo, but we'll see.

Bradley is off the injuried list so I would think he would be playing.

I was somewhat surprised to see that Collier was released, as the team seemed to need him. But with Gause taking his place on the depth chart this week, I suppose the team thinks Gause can do about as well. And perhaps at a lower salary. And according to this week's depth chart, it appears to be confirmed that Glasper will take Cox's place as a linebacker. And you can click here to view that depth chart.

Also according to that depth chart, Delgardo will start and Bradley will not.
