In a similar situation in 2008, Jyles was making his first start against the Edmonton Eskimos where the Roughriders led 33-6 at halftime. He had a couple of interceptions and Bishop started the second half. I would say that a 27 point lead was more of a sure thing than BC’s 15 point lead.
