1958 Ham-Wpg Grey Cup Classic tonight on CBC (Monday 19th)

Just a head's up for Ticat fans that the one Grey Cup Classic featuring the Tiger-Cats this week will be shown tonight at midnight EST.

It will be a rebroadcast of the 1958 Grey Cup between Winnipeg and Hamilton from Vancouver's Empire Stadium, won by the Bombers 35-28.

Enjoy!

Oski Wee Wee,

Bump

Great idea, lousy time. The CBC at its best.

Indeed. Thankfully ESPN Classic fills the breach with its CFL Classics fare at a reasonable time for any of us not on the Left Coast. LOL

Oski Wee Wee,

I just record them.

I recorded this game as well, and watched it when I came home from work.

Two things struck me... one, the Ti-Cats still take stupid penalties, and two, Henley can throw farther than Printers ever could. Come to think of it, I think he can punt and make field goals from much farther out than Printers could, too.

? Henley didn't join the Ticats until 1960.
Was it Don Sutherin - I think he was with the Ticats in '58, and Sudsy definitely could throw farther than Printers.
