It was a great show in BARRIE and world wide.
It puts it in to perspective. We gripe at each other who has the best fans, team…yadda, yadda, yadda…all that doesn’t really matter when millions are starving. I’d support that any day over a game…aside from that…GO BOMBERS!! (hey…someone has to support them…lol)
Some Canadians just don’t know how great we have it in this country.

Is it just me… or is this a football forum???
Yes , this is a football forum, but sometimes things happen in this world that are even more important than football.
You are right! Why don’t you start another thread on expansion to Halifax?
I didn’t see much of Live 8 - I’m not a big fan of most mainstream music. But it was cool to hear there was a Pink Floyd reunion.
What songs did Pink Floyd perform?
BREATH , COMFORTIBLY NUMB , and MONEY…with ROGER.
On the 1s page of this thread…there is a link to allot of reviews and stories , about just that.
It is the first link here…jam canoe.
I am all for CFL football talk Shawdowofdeath but this causes us to pause and consider how VERY FORTUNATE WE ARE IN CANADA, AND , THAT WE SHOULD BE SHARING MORE WITH THE REST OF THE PLANET. If we all gave up a mug of draft a week at around $5. a shot and donated it to this cause- that would be something and some bit of cash!!! I believe we all have a conscience somewhere down deep , even Esks fans.!! Not much of a sacrifice for us I would say. Good on those old rockers for doing something for others rather than for themselves for a change!!
I always liked Neil Young who dabbled in country music at times and whose Dad who just died, was a sports reporter with a Toronto newspaper for years.
