I can’t help but wonder if 18 receptions by national receivers on one team is an all-time Grey Cup record. Certainly maybe the tops in 40 years? Maybe ever?
When and who was the last team to start 4 Canadian receivers?

I may need to look it up, but I think; Bagg, Getzlaf, Fantuz and Clermont were all on the field of a Grey Cup.
Good point. Although did Clermont technically start over aDarius bowman ? I’ll bet he didn’t play more downs. He def got zero receptions. In fact that Canadian crew had 8 I think. Under 10.
My gut says Clermont didn’t start and if he did, not a whole lot of snaps. He was pretty much done by then.
As a crew - that group wasn’t as productive as the 4 we just watched start and win. Who are also a whole lot younger.
To me this topic has not got the fanfare talk it deserves. But I guess that’s what happens when Canadian receivers are now on par with the Imports league wide.
You right!
2009- Bagg, Fantuz, Getzlaf
2010- Clermont, Fantuz, Getzlaf
