What was up with what was tried on that punt?
It appeared as if they wanted to attempt an onside type of punt. I thought it looked like it was designed for the punter to pooch it up high and short and go get it himself but I easily could be wrong.
They say 2nd and 1 is a free play. And Mac uses it as Quinlan goes deep to Brooks to make it 1st and goal!
And Quinlan had a nice gain after the faked handoff earlier as well!
Oh, and TD Mac! Davis puts it in and 2nd and 1!

Well, in any case, it looks like it was a bad decision by Guelph.
30-10 Mac, but Guelph won’t quit.
And Guelph does show that they aren't quitters with an impressive drive that included two successful 3rd and 1 gambles, but they had to settle for FG after Lindsey's pass was just out of reach of intended receiver.

2nd and 1, Quinlan rolls out, nearly gets sacked, runs 8 yards for FD, then late hit tacks on more yardage.

My biggest pet peeve at football games. It almost makes me not attend university or high school games…then I remember how much I love football and get over it :lol: . Still it bugs me to no end at games.

Mac did gain 15 yards on pass to DiCroce, gained only 9 after that. 3rd and 1 gamble would have been too risky with that field position.
Crapigna has missed only one FG attempt this year, but I'd like to see him improve at punting.
Lindsey blitzed, but handed to Farquharson for big gain.
Than armpunt thrown to Ventresca! That could seal it, with only about seven minutes left!
Game. Set. Match. Lindsey just has made to many mistakes to beat a team of Mac's caliber. However Lindsey is in only his 2nd year so expect Guelph to be a force the next few season as Jazz matures.

D'Aguilar chased Lindsey, but it was Martin who sacked him. Too bad Martin got injured there as he went down. But he's walking off.
