As someone who works for TSN, it may be dangerous for me to list the top 10 players that were snubbed from their top 50 CFL players list.
Thought Tre Ford & Dru Brown were too low down the list. Ford should be in Top 20, Brownie in Top 35.
All good arguments for many CFL players to be on such a list. Although he’s now in decline at 31/32, thought Nic Demski still rated a 40-50 position.
Also thought Zach Collaros at #10 was more a ceremonial ranking than actual. Zach will continue to struggle this year as his physical gifts continue to deteriorate. With an average (some say slightly below average) o-line, Zach’s reads will be pressed even more as he realizes his escapability index has also gone south.
I have no problem with “snubbed” & “overlooked”. The players on your list are certainly worthy of top 50 status & were overlooked. You mentioned Lestage in your comments & he IMO was “snubbed”. As the highest rated Guard in the CFL in 2024, scoring excellent in both run & pass blocking, he should be moved up considerably. The same could be said for Ivez, regarded by many to be the best LT in the CFL. He was not only the highest rated LT, allowing zero sacks among other stats, but the highest rated Offensive Lineman.
I agree with all your choices but, as you say, who do you take off? IMO some are on their based on past reputations but it is what it is. For the record Brinkman does have stats to back up your argument. He was the highest rated DT by PFF & his run blocking ability is exceptional.
But good job for a very difficult thing to do. 
Good to see Berglund, Ento, and Lawrence here. Still puzzled that Mack doesn’t even make the snubbed list but maybe that’s fuel for him to go out and remind everyone of his 2023 form.
I would love this if it had value like the coaches picked the 50 best cause let’s face it the media folk don’t really have a clue. The top 2 teams getting votes didn’t make the playoffs. This list of 10 did make some corrections
