Off topic but does any one know what happened to the R-nation.ca site? seems to have been hijacked or it's disappeared.

Today was the first day that I have been able to click on that link and go to the site. It's been down for over a week.

Getting back to the original title - Looks like Burris will hang em up, I think he realizes that he can retire on top and he has some media opportunities.

Don't really know either of those guys, but I found an article about Green getting cut by Detroit just prior to the 2014 season.

He started seven games the past two years, but struggled in training camp and the preseason. Of the 16 balls that targeted him in exhibitions, eight were completed.

The Lions had seen enough, even with one exhibition to go Thursday night in Buffalo.

"He's a good young guy that has to learn schemes a little more, and pick up on schemes a little more," cornerback Rashean Mathis said. "He measures out the roof in athleticism, but that just goes to show that you have to improve year in and year out on the small things. That's what they're going on."

He was with the Bombers last spring, cut during camp.

He did the right thing, retire as a champion, Grey Cup MOP. Too much of a risk to try to repeat.
It's over to Trevor Harris now, with Jensen as the Number 2, unless someone new comes along in the training camp.

They look good on paper .

As much as I never want us to lose guys to the NFL it does help with recruitment knowing the team is professional in dealing with players desire to get a better pay cheque in the NFL and the team is successful in pulling out as much talent out of the player in order to show case that talent for any potential observers down south .

In the end it's a win win as long as we have good scouts and recruiters to pull it off in order to replace guys year after year .

The two above (for those who may not be o Twitter).

OTT ADD INT Jason ANKRAH (DL) Nebraska
OTT ADD INT Lloyd CARRINGTON (DB) Arizona State

They also added LB Darien Harris on Saturday. I think he was signed as an undrafted free agent by Cincinnati last year but cut at the end of camp.

He was listed at 6'0", 224 pounds with the Bengals. Seems awful small for an NFL LB, but much more suited to the CFL.
