Where do they find these National 300 pound plus - "O" linemen?
I suppose you can never have enough, hopefully they can find some hidden gems and end up with an "all Canadian" "O" line

Apparently he's going to stick around to assist the coaching staff. Nice move, OSEG.

Totally agree on that!
Moton was here from Day 1 and was a fan favorite as well.
Nice to see him stick around. OSEG must be doing things right to keep people happy working for them

RELEASED:
- National defensive back Mikael Charland (Concordia)
- National kicker Ronnie Pfeffer (Wilfrid Laurier)
- National receiver Scott MacDonell (Queen's)
- International quarterback Brock Jensen (North Dakota State)
- International defensive lineman Landon Cohen (Ohio)
- National offensive lineman Kadeem Adams (St. Mary's)
- International defensive back Kenneth Penny (UNLV)

Charland is the only surprise to me here as a high pick last year.

Some are surprised at MacDonell because he was very community-friendly but...so what? That's not his primary function. Harty passed him in every way last year. No loss. Hopefully that means that Jamal Kett is coming along.

SIGNED:

- International receiver Vernon Johnson
HT: 6-0 | WT: 196 lbs | Age: 25
Hometown: San Diego, CA | School: Texas A&M - Commerce

- International defensive back Doug Moss
HT: 5-10 | WT: 184 lbs | Age: 24
Hometown: Huntsville, AL | School: New Hampshire

That's five guys named Johnson on the team, three of whom are receivers. Bring a roster to the game tomorrow.

I think this is Moss' second attempt at making the team.

*Rim-shot*

SIGNED:
- International kicker Brett Maher
HT: 6-0 | WT: 187 lbs | Age: 27
Hometown: Kearney, NE | School: Nebraska

- International quarterback Danny Collins
HT: 6-3 | WT: 214 lbs | Age: 23
Hometown: Williamstown, NJ | School: Maine

- National offensive lineman Daniel Hayes
HT: 6-4 | WT: 304 lbs | Age: 23
Hometown: Waterloo, ON | School: Queen's

RELEASED:

- International kicker Ray Early (Furman)

I admit I'm not wild about that move. Early did everything that was asked of him, I thought, but apparently he was inconsistent in camp. But I don't recall Maher being the poster boy for consistency either. At least see if Maher is worthwhile.
