Couple of tweets from Didier from practice:

Kevin Glenn is not at practice. Rakeem Cato is replacing him with the starters. #Als @CFL

Didier Orméjuste ‏@DidierRDS 4m4 minutes ago
Duron Carter is not at practice. I'm told he's in the concussion protocol. #Als @CFL

Didier Orméjuste ‏@DidierRDS 3m3 minutes ago
Nik Lewis est présent, mais ne s'entraîne pas. / Nik Lewis is present, but he's not practicing. #Als @LCFca @CFL

Didier Orméjuste ‏@DidierRDS 1m1 minute ago
After leaving the Alouettes for personal reasons, Anthony Coady is back on the team. @CFL

Looks like we might have to bring back Brian Bratton and Kwami Cavil.

More from Didier:

Alex Charette (hamstrings) is practicing for the first time since training camp. #Als @CFL

The Alouettes added WR Jacoby Ford to their practice roster. @CFLca

Ford was a late cut by the Eskimos. Here`s something from the CFL website:

"An elite speedster, Ford and his infamous 4.28 40-time came to Edmonton amid plenty of hype. With his speed being second-to-none, it was thought the 28-year-old former Oakland Raider could take Kenny Stafford’s old spot and play the role of deep threat in the Esks’ offence.

But after barely playing in the team’s first pre-season game and failing to collect a catch, Ford’s time with the Eskimos and possibly the CFL ends with a whimper."

Here`s his wiki, a speedster, not very tall, and former 2010 4th round Oakland draft choice:

Sheldon, you've just brought back a very painful Big O memory ...the ball aptly delivered by AC in the end zone, hits Bratton right between the 8 and the 5, only to rebound and fall to the ground. Game and season, over.

Yeah that was a tough one, and I had always liked Bratton.

According to the Wiki, he is also a "return specialist".

Didier on why Glenn wasn`t at practice:

Didier Orméjuste ‏@DidierRDS 9m9 minutes ago
Kevin Glenn missed practice due to a doctor appointment. He should be back on the field on Monday. #Als @CFL

And I thought with no receivers Glenn thought he didn`t have to show up.

You have to thank Didier. Jonathan Guay tweeted a couple of the same things. Nothing from Herb, not sure if he was at practice.

Rakeem Cato had said he was working out with fast players. Jacoby Ford has that reputation and was released with the 1st set of cuts during the pre-season. Clues were there, but I just did not put 2 and 2 together and anticipate this particular signing.

With Ford being released earlier than expected by the Eskimos, the question becomes how good is he at this stage of his career? Is he no longer the same player after his previous foot injuries? Jim Popp probably figures there is no harm in bringing Ford in and seeing for himself what he can do.

Éric Leblanc says Kevin Glenn's doctor appointment was because he had a cold. Also, Jacoby Ford was only given a spot on the practice roster in case anybody is wondering what kind of money he signed for.

As per today's CFL transactions:
Int. WR Chandler Jones added to active roster from practice roster,
Int. WR Corbin Louks added to active roster from practice roster.
Nat. WR Alex Charette added to active roster from 6 game injured list.

Ford and Coady added to practice roster.

Presently, and including Duron Carter, there are 45 players on active roster. An Int. RB will definitely be added next week.

True, but sometimes those Youtube videos can be misleading. They won't include the drops and the times he ran a bad route, etc.

Let's hope he works out great for us.
