OOOHHHHHH!!!!!!

Johnny's little buddy Senior! Too bad he isn't on this forum to provide a few laughs.

He's right at home with the Riderfan crazies though!

Tanner Marsh is playing AFL arena football this season in Cleveland.

Tanner Marsh started today for Cleveland against Baltimore whose QB is Shane Carden. Game was the 2nd of the season for both teams. Carden started last week while Marsh did not play. I believe Marsh was promoted to 1st string this week only because of an injury.

In the game, both Marsh and Carden mostly struggled. Baltimore is a new franchise, so Carden will get some slack. Cleveland might not be so patient with Marsh.

There doesn`t seem to be an imminent CFL job for Joey Abrams. And one part shows he might have moved to Ottawa or maybe just going to school there.

This from his Linked In:

Location Ottawa, Canada Area

After spending 12 years in professional football and climbing to the position of Assistant General Manager I am continuing my education to enter the real estate industry. However, I will continue to foster the relationships I have made over the past 12 years and work to find a strong fit for my skill set in the CFL or NFL.

Argos have also signed Jeff Perrett.

They've also signed OT Jeff Perrett, per source.

So let`s see, besides Popp and Trestman there`s Venable, Cash, Green, Perrett, Finley, McDaniel, Tuck, Whitaker.

Just call them the Toronto Alouwests.

I could never understand why Noel Thorpe seemed to have lost confidence in Mike Edem after his rookie year.

But Mark Washington/Buono seem to be having similar sentiments.

#BCLions are strongly considering going import at safety. Steven Clarke has had all reps the past 2 days. I wonder about Mike Edem's future?

Don't specifically know anything about Edem but it is an age old story in pro sports ...... physically gifted and talented player looks good, makes some outstanding plays but lacks the "smarts" for his sport, commitment to his sport or and/or has other "issues" ... team gives up on them and another team, blinded by the gifts/talent thinks they can resurrect those gifts/talents; sometimes work, sometimes doesn't.

OR maybe they plan to make other use of Edem ... LB or DB perhaps.

As rumoured the Riders have acquired safety Mike Edem.

https://www.cfl.ca/2017/05/11/riders-ac ... ade-lions/

Which means he will be competing with 2 other former Als for the position - Brouillette and Jeff Hecht.

This is Richard`s territory but Jones has certainly loaded up on free agents and I doubt he will be able to keep them all salary cap wise.

Which kind of leads me to believe that Brouillette is not a sure thing to make the Riders.

Weird trade, although Mike Edem was basically given to the Riders.

I agree with Sheldon that Marc-Olivier Brouillette will have tough competition in training camp.

C`est vrai. Il y a quelque chose qui cloche avec M. Edem.
