In past years Sutton has been outstanding, leading the league in rushing. However, he has a tendency to become injured around playoff time. Rutley seemed to lose his edge last season. I would like the team to firm up the RB position and, set up some additional competition for it, at least look to having talent in the practice squad. Our OL improvements should firm up the running game and, the addition of a third prospect would complete this group should injury be an issue,

Danny Anthrop said not too long ago that his goal in the CFL is to "get film" as well as help the team win.

I caught that by Anthrop. He won't even make the team unless he accepts a practice roster spot.

I like the chemistry. This looks like a very happy cohesive group

Thorpe is happy running his own show again.

Just some things I noticed from today's mini-camp postings.

-Instance where the 1st team??? linebackers were Bear Woods, Chris Ackie, and Khalid Wooten.
-A 10 yard pass or so from Vernon Adams that looked woobly but then so was the video.
-Along with Adams on one snap were: LaVance Taylor, Alex Pierzchalski, JC Beaulieu, Tobais Palmer, and Danny Anthrop.
-Although it was primarily Martese Jackson as the returner on kick coverage practice, I did see CJ Moore once. On second thought, it might have been Aaron Sibley instead of Moore as they both wear the same number.
-Bear Woods as a gunner on punt practice demonstrating that all the above can very easily mean nothing of significance.

Nice to hear in regards to Thorpe, but maybe the fact he still had a year on his contract helped in his decision to stay...

Of all the players listed as LB, on Als off-season roster, Chip Cox was the only one not there. He probably had a good reason or something else.

Because?
One would think it would be good for all to participate.
