Loss of yards and clock.

I'd like to see the rule changed, if you lose yards, why should the clock keep running? Or at least implement a late game rule. I just hate it when teams will lose yards or just not care. At least stop the clock if you've lost yards, gaining yards of course, but losing yards it doesn't make sense to me.

I'm kind of mixed on it too, cuz there's definitely pros and cons too that. If a team is losing and they lose yards and the time keeps running then it works against them, if a team is winning and they lose yards it works for them.

Maybe a rule for losing and a rule for winning. If the team is losing and the lose yards let the time run down, but if they're winning and they're losing yards (or maybe after the 3 minute warning) stop the clock.

inside the last three minutes of the half the clock stops after every play. on accepted penalties the clock doesn't start again until the snap of the ball.
