Great article on my favourite show of all-time, CBS's Person of Interest and my favourite female actress of all-time, Amy Acker!

I like the "Cool" guys on TV

Honourable mention to,

Tom Selleck as Magnum PI
James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano

BUT....

The coolest cat ever, was....

Robert Conrad as Greg "Pappy" Boyington

and I'm sure most on this forum will have no idea about him, or the TV show Baa Baa Black Sheep, about the real like VMF 214 black sheep squadron in WW2. Conrad was also cool in the ever-ready battery commercials.

I have EVERY episode of The Rifleman, Lucas McCain was a VERY cool cat. Chuck Connors played a great part.

He would be my # 4,

I'm sure you know this but Connors also played pro baseball with the LA Dodgers - and had a respectable .229 average - about Bautista levels - but he was over 6'6" so his strike zone was massive.

Also played pro basketball with the NBA if I'm not mistaken.

In keeping with all the never ending Trump / American Politics / threads in these off topic forms , If this video doesn't make you pee yer pants with laughter then nothing will . Ladies and Gentleman may I introduce you to the time that Ralph Kramden met Donald Trump . :) .......Enjoy !!!

But as much as I loved Jackie Gleason and the Honeymooners my absolute all time favourite character and the most realistic and funniest character ever presented on TV is the one , the only Archie Bunker and the classic "All in the Family" :D

Here's just a few clips of Archie and his views on America . Watch and enjoy and marvel at how far ahead of it's time this show really was ......Sadly, in this PC looney tunes BS world that we live in today a character like Archie wouldn't last two seconds on the air for fear of offending all the delicate dainty snowflakes out there .

Archie's view of America .........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2YTiw1YhkE

Archie and the National Anthem........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pgzi80dVelA

Ah...Archie Bunker..

What the creators of this show were doing were creating a satirical character who epitomized the bigotry of usa.

Little did they know that 40 years later that Archie's belief system would prevail and celebrated in large part with so many.

Sad actually.
