European Politics

Le Pen is extremely likeable and her policies are as a direct result of the loony left running down the country for years.
Hey where have we seen that, can you say the populist Donald.
It's too bad Wilders lost in the Netherlands, but I expect he will win the next time up.
Just like Brexit, France desperately need to take back their country and join with GB.

Obama's still meddling in other country's affairs. He obviously hasn't learned from Brexit

Not meddling when you are a private citizen - one who is very well respected in France - offering your opinion on a significant election.

To stop the Putin supported ultra rightie nationalist like Le Pen from getting in? You bet they would. (Not that I know enough to say that 'morally corrupt' actually applies to Macron.) :-)

....note I didn't identify any candidate there, my statement applies to both....

This whole 'Russia bad' narrative pushed by the looney left and the crooked globalists is exactly the tactics that were used post WWI where Germany was blamed for the war and were forced to pay big money to other nations which ultimately led to Hitler and WWII.

These loons are gonna start another world War with their propoganda. Blaming Russia and slapping sanctions on them. You can hear the war drums starting up already.

Personally I don't think it was appropriate for Obama to use his influence to back either candidate unless asked by French media as to his opinion.

Sounds like the French Election commission is threatening charges if the news outlets report on the leaks? What kind of Crooked system are the "centrists" running over there?

Now that the polls are closed the early projections based on exit polling and polling stations already counted - a big win for Macron. Current projected final count has him winning between 60% to 65.5% of the vote.

If that holds true - Merci France!

Apparently Le Pen has already conceded to Macron.

Think Russia and Trump had a lot to do with Le PigPen losing.

...not saying this article is completely definitive in it's portrayal of Macron, but he sounds pretty flaky, politically...bright lights and pop music are all that's apparently needed to win an election over there...

...good luck to France and it's ongoing battle against terrorism, probably not going to get fixed any time soon under this guy...
