You don't want to say anything that might incriminate you if you don't have to though. What's the say - what you say can and will be used or held agains't you. He's being coy and I guess does have the right to do so.

Maybe A. But I think he should just say the number and move on.

"I've met with them 20 times. And our conversations are private. If I'm in breach of Ethics that will no doubt become public as is protocol." or whatever. Done. Just all so unnecessary politics.

A number of high-profile attendees later got lucrative government approvals. For example, Trudeau attended a fundraiser at the mansion of multimillionaire Miaofei Pan on Nov. 7 in Vanouver where Pan urged the prime minister to allow Chinese investment in seniors’ care. Later that month Anbang Insurance Group bought a majority stake in Vancouver-based seniors’ care company Retirement Concepts in a deal reported to have exceeded $1 billion.

Pathetic.

Nope. Apparently, he's trying to stay there in the shadows where no one can see what he's actually doing.

Really, jamie is right in that all Trudeau has to do is acknowledge that he's met X number of times (or even simply 'several' times), that he's fully cooperated, and that any violations will be decided on and made public by the commission.

Instead, he gives us deflecting and circumlocution.
