What happened to the SMS audit report ?

....A lot of people wondering why the audit hasn't been released yet...I'd say a team or teams are holding things up because they are not in agreement with the findings??? Every team has the right to challenge the audit ...The longer it drags out the more that seems to be the case...Someone might have to audit the audit :D

Some minor fines, but no team over the cap:

The League has confirmed that all CFL teams were under the cap, in 2016.

The League fined Chris Jones, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the BC Lions for violating CFL By-Laws. Jones was fined $5,000, the Roughriders $31,500 and the BC Lions $2,500.

To all the Media members and fans on this site that have been writing/kept insisting, since March 2016 that the Als were exceeding/over the cap, may I remind you that the Als were within the 2016 cap.

That was the edited version. Here is the initial raw version from Chris Jones:

"The Saskatchewan Roughriders regret being caught bending CFL rules. We want to assure our fans and supporters that we will do a better job and leave no stone unturned in our continuing efforts to circumvent CFL regulations and bylaws."

.....Tennessee Corky always pushing the envelope...looks bad on the rider brand...But he doesn't seem to give a rat's arse and will either straighten out his game or he'll be turfed...The rest of the league looks on some of this crap he pulls off as 'cheating' and they wouldn't be far off.

Pffft...all this whining about the Riders.

People forget the biggest offender of the cap were the Als in 2007. Lost their first ( 4th over all) pick for being over by more than $100,000.

Well if you want to bring up past history, there`s this about the Riders:

"They went over by $76,752 in 2007, $87,147 in 2008, $26,677 in 2010 and $17,975 in 2013. "

Some may recall, Jones threatened legal action against @JDunk12 after his initial report about @sskroughriders /Manziel. Never came to be.

The accuracy of Donks reporting never came to be either. Dunk was wrong just like Jones stated.
