Anyone following the Canada-India matchup?
I caught part of the doubles match today.  Pospisil and the ageless one - Daniel Nestor pulled it out in 4 sets. Shapovalov has a chance to wrap it up for Canada in the first singles match tomorrow.

And found this article to be a bit of an eye opener.  Tennis legend Pete Sampras thinks Shapovalov has the potential to be a top 2 player.  That's high praise for the kid.  Here's hoping Sampras is right.

Add Hall of Fame tennis player Pete Sampras to the growing list of players and analysts predicting great things for Canadian phenom Denis Shapovalov.
The 14-time Grand Slam champion not only believes the 18-year-old can contend for major titles, but thinks Shapovalov can become a top-2 player, according to an interview in The Independent.
"I really like his attitude," Sampras told The Independent in the U.K. "He's got a lot of energy out there, has a big game and has got all the shots."
Sampras also sees 20-year-old German and Rogers Cup winner Alexander Zverev, along with Austrian Dominic Thiem as future superstars.
