Alouette mini-camp is focused on passing.  That is why it would be logical to bring in every WR/DB you have under contract in order to weed them out for the main camp.  Lineman for instance mostly are not there, so the Als will hold off announcing any of those signings until later.

Yesterday, RB Daryl Virgies from Virginia-Lynchburg said he is restarting his football career in Montreal.  Last off-season, he inked a futures contract with the NY Giants but was released 4 months later.  Virgies had previously been with the A7FL where they play 7-man tackle football with no helmets or pads.  Timing of him signing could very well be related to one of the free agent camps held this past weekend.

He won't make the team if he refuses his restructured contract. The money won't be there.
