While I certainly agree Kavis has to go, the bigger issue is meddling Andrew the owner who most likely would only hire another individual he can control.

And Andrew is not so easily fired.
From what I have been told there was between 5000 and 10000 people in the stands. I would consider that "fired"...
Paid attendance or tickets sold was 18849 according to the Als site, obviously there were not that many people there due to the rain and the teams poor performance. In our section there were lots of new faces but that could be due to the fact that our seats are covered and people wanted to get out of the rain.
Find it hard to believe they "sold" 18849 for Monday's game. If they did, good for them I guess.

I do know for their last home game of the season, they have offered up to one of the local school boards several hundred tickets at well below face value.

This organization has made it a habit of lying to fans. There was not 10 000 people in that stadium.
Everything I write is just an opinion formed from various sources. Some more reliable than others, it is expressed as a composite of facts, innuendos, emotions, personal experiences and complete fabulation into a gumbo for entertainment purposes alone.

You have to listen to this. I nearly drove off the road when I first heard it this afternoon. Listening to Kavis is more dangerous than texting.

He is a total bull spitter talking about creating culture and foundation. And if Andrew is buying this crap, there is no hope.

I`m not always right, I just think I am.

So Reed thinks the organization is moving in the right direction despite how they have done since he let go Chaps and Thorpe.

Wonder who else is drinking the same kool aid.

From Herb Zurkowsky:

(Kavis) Reed said he was given the freedom by ownership and president Patrick Boivin to make any trades he deemed necessary. While Reed has drawn the wrath from frustrated fans on social media, all indications within the organization are the rookie GM will be allowed to return next season, the Montreal Gazette has learned.

“I was given the ability, and have the ability, to make any move that would have made us better,” said Reed, who steadfastly has refused to discuss his future. “There’s no handcuffs on that. It’s about doing this the right way.”

Yup. What a wanker!

Here is one language Kavis is not fluent in: WINNING!

Only Kavis Reed would try and spin the dumpster fire he lit, by saying it's all part of the 'master plan'

***IF*** that is true, the put-up or shut-up issue to prove it will be who gets hired as HC, and whether they are forced to keep AC.
Let's  not confuse FACTS with OPINIONS

Mario Langlois posted this earlier today also stating that Reed returns as GM for 2018.

Croyez le ou non, Kavis Reed reviendra à la direction générale des Alouettes la saison prochaine car il mérite une "vraie" chance selon Patrick Boivin et la famille Wetenhal.

They can't fire, him nobody will go work for them. I said nobody is going to put their reputation and career on the line to work for the Wetenhall family, it's over for them. This team needs to be sold. Expect crowds of 12 000 to start next season (No matter what lies they spew) and by the time they fire Kavis at 0-4, crowds will have melted to less than 10 000.

The fanbase is going to kick Andrew Wetenhall in the nads...

Now watch him bring in another of his old buddies to replace JC. That is always what it was about...
