On the bright side, kept the Stamps to 59 points.
Sad but true! The Stamps looked like the would score 70+ last night. Kavis is probably stoked that the Als held them under 60!! its a moral victory for him!!
Maybe that was why Reed was smiling at game's end.
;)

Wonder what the owner is thinking this morning?
Next home game long weekend against the Esks.
They didn't have Messam in the lineup and pulled Bo Live one or two series into the second half! Had Dickenson keep his foot down, they would have put at minimum 70 points on the board and possibly more.

You can be sure someone Huf or even higher intervened with Dickenson at halftime on behalf of the Wetenhall and the CFL to have mercy in the second half. That's a stone throw from a fixed football game!
Everything I write is just an opinion formed from various sources. Some more reliable than others, it is expressed as a composite of facts, innuendos, emotions, personal experiences and complete fabulation into a gumbo for entertainment purposes alone.

The Als look like an expansion team!

Correction.  Team that is still in training camp according to Chip Cox.

“What do you expect from a team that loses a head coach and a defensive co-ordinator?” linebacker Chip Cox asked. “It’s a rebuilding process.

“We’re going through training camp right now while everyone else is mid-season. We’re learning all new stuff.”

Hmmm. Guessing the Cats are also going through TC.
3 wins in their last 4 games and leading at the half against Argos.

Disappointed that Chip seems to be looking for excuses.  Of course that may be easier than looking on the mirror and accepting that, overall, he is no longer a positive for the defence; he makes the odd play but of course he gets tons of chances as teams are targeting him.
Let's  not confuse FACTS with OPINIONS

Chip has maybe spoken out 3 times in his ten year career. Give you an idea how fed up he is with the crap. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I agree that the Als are basically in training camp mode/evaluating - for the rebuild. Which makes me wonder why some guys are mailing it in. Would think they want to compete for their job.

Perhaps some are hoping to move on from this organization at year's end. It's a long way away from getting to the top right now. And for some veterans who may have a year or two left, why would they want to go through another season as this or last.
Father time... go somewhere where there is a legitimate shot at the playoffs and beyond sooner rather than later.

You would think some teams would like to have a Cox, Jackson or a Bowman added to their roster to make a run. Even Durant. If your paying him only for four games would be a good addition to a team like Ottawa for example.

The ship is sinking, and Reed will bring everyone down with him!

Seriously, Reed agreed to the one year plan of loading up on, and keeping veterans, to get in the playoffs in 2017. If he starts trading away older players and high salaried players, it will be admitting his plan (and the Wetenhall's) was wrong.

He will most likely keep everyone to save face, rather than do what's right...

I can think of another team where these players more than likely would be welcomed... the boys in blue along the 401.

As long as they take the keys to the Yugo, the minute the season is done before he trades his draft picks and gets the Als even deeper into the hole.

“It’s not the fact we’re losing seven in a row. It’s that we lose seven in a row by 25 points,” rush-end John Bowman said Friday night. “Every game, it seems like a blowout. It seems like a lot of people don’t care, but that’s just how I feel.”
