Dead last right now.
Worse than last year.
Who would have thought at the start year this is where they would be.
DD leads the league in INT with 14.
Reed standing on the sidelines like a deer in the headlights.
And now off to Calgary.
Hopefully it is not too lopsided.
The way I see it. The more embarrassing the loss the better for the outlook of this team long term.
True.

What an embarrassment! The Als have truly hit rock bottom. They won't win another game this season.

The Als will actually finish behind the Ticats. A team that was a complete mess up until a few weeks ago, and that started the season 0-8.

A good friend of mine told me this was a worse ownership than the Federyks in Calgary 15 years ago... Marc Cohon saw this coming over five years ago. Basiclly this organization needs a reboot from the owner on down. The Wetenhall have basically turned this organization into the equivalent of an expansion team. There is absolutely nothing to salvage and it will take five years with the right owners and personel to rebuild this team, assuming the fans want to go on the ride. Is there enough CFL fans in Montreal to handle a losing program for a total stretch of 9-10 years? I have serious doubts. One thing is certain there won't be if it is the Wetenhall.
Everything I write is just an opinion formed from various sources. Some more reliable than others, it is expressed as a composite of facts, innuendos, emotions, personal experiences and complete fabulation into a gumbo for entertainment purposes alone.

The Last Word

Hmmmm a father and son duo working in tandem to destroy a CFL team.  Could be Gliebergoofs part deux.  All we need is the younger Wettenhall to date an Als cheerleader and for a Mardi Gras themed game complete with beads.

Hfx..what are you referring to when you say Cohon saw this coming years ago?

Things do look bleak. I personally cant bear the thought to think of the CFL without Montreal.

I cant think though of anyone to build around right now. It just feels like a bunch of absentee guys coming and going.

From the outside looking in and reading reports I wish Vercheval would get involved.

Pierre Vercheval's take on the game against the Argos. He suggests benching, or reading between the lines, cutting Durant and Ernest Jackson to send a message. He pretty much says their crappy play is unacceptable.

I have a feeling Kavis Reed guarranteed the first two years of Durant's deal. A guy who's 450k salary is on the line would be a lot more nervous and fighting a lot harder for his job...

Followed by letting Reed go for giving Durant that contract along with the rest of the personnel moves he has done since being GM.
