Interesting read on who might be QB'ing where next season:

http://3downnation.com/2017/12/02/prognosticating-cfls-quarterback-carousel-2/
Interesting read but not very well researched and very much incomplete when you consider that the article doesn't even mention Masoli and where he might end up next season . I've honestly never seen another guy like Masoli who never seems to get the respect he deserves . I mean the Cats have won only 13 games total the past two seasons and all Masoli's done is win 10 of those 13 games . How can the author possibly  omit Masoli when he's the QB who is the upcoming and possible FA on this team ? It's as if the guy is an afterthought in all this and it's pretty puzzling as well as insulting that he doesn't even warrant a mention in this article .
I think you're right on, bobo82.  Masoli IS an "afterthought" here, around the league, and even in June Jone's mind, if Johnny Football signs, and stays, here.  Jeremiah deserves, and has earned over the past 3 seasons, much more respect. When it comes to extending potential free-agents, he's my #1.

Manziel is not technically a free agent, since the Ticats hold his rights.  I really hope we trade them.

True

Manzeil is the one i really worry about when posters reference the Cats will regret trading or releasing Collaros. That guy is a complete wildcard. He would do wonders for perking up the Montreal franchise.
BOOM or BUST.

Well you have a choice- 1.   Trade Manziel and keep Collaros
                                                 or
                                   2.  Get rid of Collaros and keep Maziel.

These are the only choices.Because it seems that Jones whats Masoli plus one of the above.

Doesn't Collaros look alot better now!

Absolutely agree with you but like has been said before, Cats cant afford both Masoli and Collaros if Masoli demands big $.  Maybe they’ll both take a “shave” for sake of team!

Both like Jones and if Jones promises Masoli a starting job, he will stay at a moderate starting pay.
And Collaros maybe told by Austin that he can have his agent search around for a better deal for
him and that Austin would match or beat any deal that is offered him by another team.
I think that because Collaros hasn't played much last year and when he did play they were all
loses, that Austin thinks that the other teams will not offer Collaros that much and he should be
able to counter offer them still with a big savings from his original deal.
He will also tell Collaros that Masoli will start, but he will see much more action than last year
under Jones.
I think Collaros will take the better money(than other teams offer) and wait for his chance to start.
