The moves made by Calgary this off-season indicate that Messam and Charleston Hughes were more responsible for the Grey Cup defeat than was Mitchell.

Can Calgary possibly win the tough Western Division championship for a third straight year?

Is it realistic to expect that the team will return to the Grey Cup and win it?  And, in Edmonton, to boot?

The Blue Bombers, Eskimos and Roughriders present stiff competition for Calgary.

It will take a Herculean achievement for Calgary to win the Grey Cup in 2018.

Will they make it to the west final? possibly. If they do will they win it? likely yes. Can they win a GC with BLM? doubt it. Boneheaded throws and lack of guts is his downfall.

...bone-headed throws I won't argue with, but what's behind the lack of guts thought?  how do you define 'lacking guts' '67?
There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it's all dark.

Well lets see, after the fumble at the 7 yard line BLM looked like a little school girl pretending he had intention of tracking down the ball going in the other direction IMHO. Also, BLM wouldn't run 5 yards for a 1st down to save his life, he'd rather throw it. No guts no glory AND no GC.
Nancy doesn't want to get hit, doesn't like getting involved in the gritty plays like a Mike Reilly will. Have a look back at that fumble and the return where BLM had a shot of knocking him out bounds IF he would have made any kind of an effort to lay out for the tackle or push out of bounds. Nope, he was more concerned about getting his pants dirty.

Again IMHO.

Crush cream soda is oh so good.  I think I'll have another

it is not how much you love but how well you love

why be part of the solution when you can be part of the problem

BLM is a cocky guy, but did he not play almost an entire season with something wrong in his throwing shoulder.

As for effort on the fumble return, I would point out the guy that called out his teammate for the fumble. It looked like he was paid to escort the Toronto player down the sideline.
